Murder Scene? Worry not!

Imagine yourself in the following situation.

You are in your kitchen, preparing tea, you realize that you have run out of sugar. You then decide to ask your neighbor for some. Getting out of your apartment with a bowl in your hand, you ring the doorbell. There is no response. You ring it once again. Still, there isn’t any response. A knock on the door swings it open.
